Random Update & Relationship Goals

I don’t know about you, but I am mentally worn out.

From a variety of ongoing personal life issues to the national political issues that no one seems able to ignore because everyday there is yet another crisis. I won’t go into politics apart to say that leadership seems to be failing us on all sides. Yes, yes, I know there are two sides of the political spectrum and some who agree entirely with current moves, but even they must admit that these “solutions” seem to be poorly planned without much thought to the ‘now what’ stage. Perhaps chaos is the goal?

This is not the place to debate serious politics and I won’t.

Unfortunately, as much as I need the distraction on all levels, personal and political, I have simply been unable to find the right mindset to focus on my usual story-telling. I had a few posts ready, but for even as much as I (and perhaps you as well) may need it; the words just don't seem to be flowing enough to hit "publish" as the interruptions seem constant.

As others have stated, blogging works best when a conversation takes place. Unfortunately that isn't often the case here. I could write entirely for myself but not sure I see the benefit of that yet.

Here's to hoping the inspiration and time returns over the weekend. And in the meantime I'll leave you with a vision of where I'd rather be on a personal level. Here is what I am seeking  as this image sums it up so perfectly. I'll leave you with the summary tagline that a younger generation is fond of using -

Relationship Goals:

Find me a girl who believes in old fashion romance,
but also wants my dirty mind.

Enjoy your weekend.

  2. Oh Enzo, I am right where you are. I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks and I can't seem to make myself get back to it. I had hoped that after vacation, I would be fresh and ready to tackle the keyboard but it has not happened. I wish you luck and if you find a solution, please clue me in.

  3. Hi Fondles - Thanks for the encouragement. Appreciate it.

Hi Sunny - I would have thought the vacation would have rejuvenated you.
I might have come up with an idea for us and others in a similar missing-muse predicament. Stay tuned.

  4. I am sorry Enzo but also understand. I have recently dealt with some very difficult times and am struggling to get my mojo back! Maybe we fake it til we make it? Hope you feel the urge soon!

  5. Hi Minelle - Sorry to hear that you have been dealing with difficult times as well. "Fake it til we make it" is a good approach. Thanks for reaching out.
    Best,
