The Beautiful Game Part III
So the US underdogs have lost, but I must admit they put up one heck of a fight. The US is now out of the World Cup as are so many of my other favored teams. Towards the finals, I was still rooting for Brasil, but alas they are also out for the most part. Third place seldom counts for much, if at all, in the history books.
Unfortunately, this was more than a loss; it was a pounding, humiliating defeat. This defeat will go down in history as one of the worst crushes ever - ever! A horrible loss with such a high score, hardly any defense and all while at home.
Well the fans took the loss hard as is to be expected. Passionately hard in facct. Culminating in tears of sorrow.
I hate to see a Basilian girl cry, let alone so many...well unless of course I am spanking her ass and thus making her cry (wink).
Which got me thinking and to soon realize the following similarities.
Interesting enough, if you follow the reaction of these Basilian fan's watching their team's gradual loss; I couldn't help but notice the similarity to the visual stages of a disciplinary spanking:
1. Coming to terms with the initial threat.
Trying hard to not show the concern hidden just behind her eyes. A threat of a spanking has been made, yes that is the fact; but a seemingly, perhaps hopefully, slim possibility.
2. Sudden subdued pouty arrogance. A trembling lip.
"This won't happen. This can't happen, right? Right?!!"
3. The gasps. The initial slaps of reality.
"Oh my gawd! Oh my gawd! This is seriously happening! Owww...Owwwwwww!"
4. A solitary tear then the full throttle spanking*
The forced restraint slowly unfolds and she ultimately succumbs to all the pain and emotion.
*Make sure the GIF fully loads.
5. The aftermath.
'The spanking is over; slow your crying. Dry your tears and rub your ass young lady. Go on. Tomorrow is another day.'
If that wasn't enough; getting back to the goal of brightening your day, here is a video to do just that. It may look like a long video, but trust me it is well worth the time. In particular, especially if you are not a soccer/World Cup fan and fail to understand the tears on these girls faces after their team lost. This video explains the reason for the passion of the game perfectly!
Hope you enjoyed that video; now go back and look a these pictures and comparisons again. Do you see what I see?
Enjoy and don't forget to let me know what you think.
